In today’s world, global climate change is a burning issue which should be dealt with care for the sake of our existence. The question arises whether solely individual efforts or only governments and large business initiatives are more essential to prevent the global climate change. This essay will discuss both the views and illustrate how both of the efforts together can help to make it possible.
To begin with, individual efforts are too small to be counted in the battle against global climate change if compared with the government and large business initiatives. Since, global climate change is a phenomena that has a huge impact on the existence of mankind, small scale individual efforts are no longer counted as a help. For example, as deforestation is one of the causes of global climate change and it is performed by a group of miscreants, authorities like goverments have the power to fight against it. In short, although individuals are helpful in some cases, government and large business initiatives are important to prevent global climate change.
On the other hand,even though governments and large business may take large scale decisions and initiate projects to battle global climate change, efforts from every individuals are also necessary. If every individual is aware of the key reasons of the global climate chage and act accordingly, their cumulative efforts will create a huge impact. For instance, if every individual knows that deforestation is harmful for the global climate, they can stop deforestation themselves which may help the government to think about other factors of climate change.
