Zoo is a place where thousands of people visited / visit everyday along with their family not only for recreation, but also their children gained to gain proper knowledge about variours/ various animals. At present, people are so busy that's why they don't have enough time to watch satellite channel like Geographical channel or Animal Planet to gain idea about different creatues/ creatures. There are some other reasons why people use to go zoo such as educational purpose, research work, observe the nature, fresh air, relaxation etc. For various purposes people visit zoo like education, research, to enjoy nature , fresh air or to have relaxation.
In school, there are some subjects related to animal habitats and their attitudes. And the best way for the pupil to achieve practical experience is by visiting the zoo. Some educational institutions nowadays arrange a day long program in the zoo to meet such kind of animals who are not harmful and the student easily get more details about the animal and their behaviour. Such as In Regent Park Zoo, in London every year thousands of student went/ go there and watched the animal activities/ behaviours to solve their educational activities.
Besides, the uiversity/ university students who are studying zoology they also have also some reasearch/ research work on animals food habit and their activities. And it is not possible to go to jungle frequently to collect some sample every time. So, it is easy to go to the zoo and observe the animals and get the information what they needed. by/ By doing this, they can save their time and money. For instance, In Dubai, they have one of the biggest research institutes at the zoo where thousand of reasearcher/ researchers working/ works on animals habitat.
Moreover, it is impossible to see the green who lives in the city. It is the best way to visit nearest zoo and spent some time to see the nature. It is also good for health when people visitied/ visit to zoo. They get fresh air from the nature and it makes them calm and quiet. which It is not possible to enjoy living in the city areas.
In conclusion, people in the morden/ modern society believe that zoo has many useful purposes not for the purpose of entertainment.
